Pet care experience
I’ve loved dogs since elementary school when I picked up a book on dog breeds and training and started reading it. I’ve taken care of all sorts of dogs from little Yorkies to big German Shepards! I don’t scare easily and picking up dog poop or cleaning up throw up is not a problem. :) I love dogs and love taking care of them! I have two “special dog skills” - I’m great at reading a dogs body language and I'm impervious to puppy nibbles and jumping dogs (I have plenty of experience with both of these 😂). What sets me apart from other dog sitters/walkers? If you want me to help train your dog while I dog sit, I am more than happy to do so! I'm not afraid to learn new things, accommodate to your needs, and work hard to make you and your dog happy! Note: I only work with one client at a time, aka your dog(s) will be the only ones present in the home if you book with me! :)

Liza is a lovely young woman whose DF apt has a unique fenced-in back yard that gives even larger dogs plenty of space to run around in, although she can also take dogs on leashed walks in town. Liza is very responsible and I recommend her highly.

For dog sitting, I have a fenced-in yard where your pup can run around, and will keep an eye on your pet during the day while I work. :) For dog walking, I have experience walking all types of dogs from time volunteering in shelters, so I’ll keep them off hot pavement, keep an eye out for other dogs, and generally keep them safe!

Knowing helps me take the best care of them and get them back to you safe and happy. In more detail: - Is your dog is aggressive or not towards certain people? - Can certain situations make them more aggressive? - Does your dog pull very hard on walks? - Does your dog have a strong prey drive? - Is your pup an escape artist? - Does your pup bark often when in the home? - How does your dog react to men/women/strangers? - How does your dog behave with other dogs/pets?
A typical day
We love walks around the neighborhood and playing games outside! There are also plenty of parks nearby, and thanks to the enclosed yard in my apartment, I can keep your dog entertained by playing with them and teaching them new tricks. Fetch, tug of war, tag.. you name it! :)
