Pet Loving College Student

Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Liza and I am a student at Northeastern University. I currently study biochemistry and am working in the biotech industry in Cambridge! Being away from home and my dog (Navi!) has been tough, so I am looking to start walking, playing with, and taking care of pets. I love all dogs regardless of size (and cats!) and am super flexible. This is a job that I am choosing because it is great to do along with my full time job of being a student! I am located in Mission Hill and have a Charlie card as well as a bike, so I am able to travel around the city. I look forward to meeting your pets and am excited to play with them!

Liza has always had a love for dogs but hasn’t been able to own one due to her brothers allergies. She has made up for this by being a dog sitter for neighbors when they were out of town. She is an incredibly conscientious person who takes her commitments very seriously whether it be to her teammates or to a dog owner/dog. She can be counted on to take great care of your best friend. You can know that while your dog is getting focused attention from Liza she is getting the puppy love that she desires in return. I can’t recommend Liza high enough for this role!

4 years of experience
Oral medication administration
Senior dog experience

Safety, trust & environment

Making a pet comfortable is the most important aspect of pet sitting for me! Before starting, I like to lay out a set of expectations with the owner and find out how the pet acts so that I can do my best to make everyone (both you and the pet) happy

Home

Lives in an apartment
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 4-8 hours

Information Liza R. would like to know about your pet

How active they are, if they are comfortable around people, how they interact with other dogs, and their feeding schedule! Additionally, the length of walks and frequency is good knowledge for me to have so I can plan around it!

A typical day

One of my favorite places to walk is the Charles River, but I am also a huge fan of playing in a park or closed off area if possible. If a dog likes to play frisbee or fetch, you bet we’ll be playing it!
