I worked at a dog school for 5 years and learned about breeds, temperaments, exercise and nutrition. I'm pet parent to a senior pug who now has special needs. He has lost his hearing and much of his sight and takes regular medications. He doesn’t like medicine so I’ve become skilled at getting him to take his meds. I understand that animals need proper exercise, nutrition, a solid routine and respect. I take pride in giving my pet clients the same comfort and care that I give my little old man. I’ve been with Rover for four years and my clients and their pets are more like family members than clients. I think developing those relationships is the best part of being a pet sitter. As a pet care provider, I also understand pet parent's needs and I update clients on their pets via phone, text, email and pictures while they are away.
