Pet care experience
As stated in my headline, I am a passionate animal-nerd. Dogs have been a part of my life since I was a baby. My passion for animals has been a part of me since I can remember. This eventually lead me to a degree in Biology with a Captive Wildlife minor. I interned at the Topeka Zoo in Kansas where I gained more knowledge about animal training. During my time in college I had the privilege to start my dog walking with a wonderful couple with two Great Pyrenees. My time with them really opened my eyes to how each dog is in individual. I needed to pay attention to the dogs behaviors and mannerisms to enjoy a safe walk for me and the dogs. I understand that not every dog is the same. Everyone owner has different standards, commands and routines for their dogs. It is extremely important to me that I adhere to the owners training of their dog. I want reinforce the behavior you have taken time to train, not create set backs. **I am also comfortable working with other species such as birds and reptiles; just would need to be brought up to speed on what does or doesn't work for your pet**

Liz has been successfully watching dogs for much longer than Rover has been around with many repeat customers. Thankfully Rover is here to give her a great platform to continue her great work. She really pays attention to what your dog's routine is, what behaviors you might be working on, and respects your dog and your space. She sends many updates throughout the day and really makes an effort to make a connection with your pet so they are comfortable with her. She also is really flexible with scheduling and accommodates for weather and for emergencies. Thank you Liz for taking great care of Monty, Meows and Duluth!
Liz was such an amazing dog sitter. It was hard leaving Willie, who is only 9 weeks old, for the first time overnight but I felt confident leaving him in Liz's hands. She was very adamant about learning the commands we have been using for Willie to keep him on track with the training progress we had made which was very impressive to me. She also requested details of his daily schedule so that my time away from Willie was stress free for him and his routine wasn't interrupted. She updated me multiple times a day with the cutest photo's of nap and playtime! She made me feel at ease during my trip knowing that he was so well taken care of. Liz truly cares about every pet she sits and she is the best dog sitter that I have ever had.
Liz has always been such a huge dog lover! When I was working over 9 hours a day I knew I could count on Liz to help me take care of my dog General. I’d simply ask her to stop by and feed him and let him outside for a few minutes. She would insist on taking him for a walk or to the dog park and even play fetch with him in the backyard. You can even expect her to send you adorable pictures and videos of your dog! In the cold brutal winters she would even just come over to hangout with him so he wasn't home alone all day! She always went above and beyond! You can count on Liz to take exceptional care of your dog and they’ll be in very safe hands!
