A home away from home

Pet care experience

Howlo! My name is Liz. Here's my story: Back in 2010 ,I received my certification as a CDT (certified dog trainer) from Animal Behavioral College, which I used to help my dog as well as shelter dogs in positive reinforcement training. I spent half a year as a volunteer in the Bonita animal shelter in San Diego, primarily focusing on DOG WALKING and positive reinforcement training with the pups. It was a fun and positive experience in my life, however, my focus went elsewhere after my second child was born. I was also a pet parent for 11 years of a beautiful white boxer named, Ali. She crossed over the rainbow bridge a few years back, but thoughts of her still bring me great joy! I believe I provided 11 years of fun LOVING care for my pup and gave her the best life possible. Recently, we were gifted our ADORABLE labradoodle, Max. He has FILLED our life with so much joy and snuggles (he's the best snuggler!) and his job here at home has expanded to Ambassador Extraordinaire!! He will be the deciding factor in your dog's stay here at our home. If it works out, WE look forward to giving your pup a FUN LOVING experience that will send them back home TIRED and wanting to come back for MORE! I can't wait to meet your pup and give hime the BEST experience, a home away from home! :D I am a stay at home mom pretty much here all day, with availability to give your pup ALL the LOVE he needs (intermittently). My days consist of a lot of pick-ups and drop-offs, driving my kids to and from activities/school/playdates all week long... I have a fenced yard where the dogs can run freely. I also LOVE taking dogs on dog walks /hikes ,making sure they run off all that energy so they are nice and CALM for cuddle time.

Liz did a very good job in making our 2 pups, who had never stayed away from us before in an unfamiliar environment, feel at home. She was very communicative sending photos and updates daily. I would definitely have Liz watch our pups again.

Liz was fantastic! Sent us daily updates and kept our pup active and busy. My pup looked like she had a great time during her stay. We will definitely use Liz again next time if we can!

A typical day

While staying with me your dog can look forward to a lot of cuddles and attention. I have two young daughters and a young pup, Max, who will help me with that! Also, I am BIG on making sure the dogs that stay with me have proper exercise, so walks/ hikes are usually part of our daily routine. I will keep my boarding numbers low in order to offer individualized attention and the best quality of care for your fur-baby.
