Loving on Austin's dogs since 2013!

Pet care experience

Any size and any breed treated like our very own in a clean and comfortable home setting with a big backyard in a shady North Central Austin neighborhood. With a typical intake of 3-5 dogs, we enjoy providing individual care and attention to your friendly dogs with up-to-date vaccinations. Since 2013, we've opened our house to your dogs partly due to our own dissatisfaction with the usual kennel model of too many dogs in a noisy, concrete jungle, but mostly because we love getting to know dogs as unique individuals and think they all deserve the best. Our experience comes from our own pets and from meeting the rigorous requirements for fostering dogs for a local rescue group. Our job then was to help those pups become happy, healthy, confident members of canine society. Now our job is to keep your dogs happy and safe. Our flexible schedules mean your dogs will rarely be left on their own. And your hosts have complementary skills. Liz seems to have a knack for relaxing dogs, and Mike is a master of play. Our mascot, Aixa, loves to make new human and dog friends and has been a welcoming, patient foster sister who does a great job of moderating her activity level to the other dog's energy. If your dogs have had enough, she can also take a hint. Of course, we're always keeping an eye on everyone. We pay close attention to your dogs' personal needs, likes, and dislikes, and we tailor their stay to keep them healthy and happy. Your dogs will be treated like family and will get plenty of play throughout the day indoors and in our large, safe, outdoor play space. Our big, grassy, fenced yard provides lots of opportunities for supervised exploring, and our dog-friendly neighborhood has lots of shady sidewalks and parks for good walks. One favorite, indoor feature seems to be the circular route through the house for fun games of chase or hide-and-go-seek. We hope to hear from you soon!

Liz is simply the best! Our Jordy is generally a timid, standoffish dog and Liz has really brought the best out in her. She took the time to get to know Jordy’s personality and it has paid off. She also keeps us updated daily with pics of Jordy having a blast playing with the other dogs in the backyard. I highly recommend Liz for all your dog sitting needs!

I can't say enough great things about Liz! Our dog Luna loves staying at her wonderful home anytime we go out of town. Our family always has piece of mind and we know our sweet girl will be well cared for with lots of play time and snuggles while we're away. We are so grateful to her and her husband for taking such good care of our beloved family dog. We will continue to be repeat visitors as long as Liz has availability. Highly recommend her!

Our dog Lucky had a great stay with Liz and Mike this weekend. Lucky is shy and nervous with new people but quickly warmed up to them. We received regular updates and pictures of the fun Lucky was having at their house. I feel great about leaving Lucky with Liz knowing she is in good hands and not stuck in a kennel.
