Special interest: shy, fearful pups

Pet care experience

I have over 20 years of animal care experience but narrowed my professional focus to dogs about 5 years ago. Currently an assistant dog trainer and will gain my full trainer credentials in early 2024. I have experience working with dogs of all ages and am comfortable administering medications—I definitely have a soft spot for dogs with special needs!

Liz was wonderful and gave us peace of mind throughout our ski vacation. She came every morning on time for pick up and drop off in the evening. She even drove in snowstorm to pick up our dog Piper without issue. You can tell the moment you meet Liz that she has a great love for dogs and your dog is in good hands. No need to think twice when choosing Liz for your dog care needs.

Liz has an obvious level of affection and care for animals and I believe that she showered my 'Olden Golden' (my golden mix is in year 12) with love, care and attention. My dog came back to me happy and calm, not anxious or withdrawn. Liz responded to my messages while I was away and sent photo's of my old girl enjoying walks and lazing around the house. I feel confident working with Liz again and would recommend her services.

Liz is the best! She knew when our old friends needed down time and when it was time for some outdoor fun. We felt such peace of mind knowing they were with Liz. 100% recommend!

We felt confident with Liz. We talked with Liz online so all of us had a good understanding of our dogs needs. I I know, if the occasion arises would leave our dog with her again.

I am the lucky mama of three sweet rescue dogs named Jelly Bean, Frankie, and Meera. They are highly socialized due to the nature of my work and they join me for house sitting and pet care. A typical day includes frequent potty breaks/play sessions outside followed by low-energy training and relaxation, inside or out (weather dependent).

Information Liz R. would like to know about your pet

I’d love to know what your dog’s favorite toys, treats, and activities are. It’s also helpful to know if your dog has any known triggers and what commands they respond to.

A typical day

We love hiking! Having previously run pack hikes for several years, we are often drawn to the forest to run, sniff, and practice our recall skills.
