Active, Knowledgeable With Training

Pet care experience

As a part of my day job/career I work with Guide Dogs for the blind, so I REALLY understand how much training and activity that any dog needs (not just a working animal)! I'm a live-alone dog owner myself, and he always comes first. My dog Calvin and I go hiking together all around Colorado. I love bonding with dogs, playing, hiking, or just relaxing. If there are specific training you need me to keep up with during our time together, I will oblige. I am also experienced in crate training, potty training, and commands. Your best friend will be treated just like my own- lots of love, pets, and cuddles! I'll look forward to learning about your dog's unique needs and quirks, and will do everything I can to deliver them the best experience that I can. I adore any size and breed of dog, especially bigger doggos! My job is extremely flexible and provides me opportunities to stop home midday almost every day. I also have every-other Friday off. House Sitting: I would only be able to do this if I can bring my dog to your house. My dog is very mellow, but I get that some personalities don't mesh, so I would happily do a meet and greet beforehand! My home: I do have a small fenced-in area for quick potty breaks, and enjoy taking my dog (and yours!) for 2 walks per day. I have 2 bedrooms, so the dogs can have their own space. I do allow my own animal on the furniture, but will keep yours off if you don’t want to form that habit.

Liz, and her dog Calvin, took excellent care of our puppy! Each day she sent us photos or videos, along with updates. She took him on hikes or walks each day, and came home during the day to let him out and give him some love. Our puppy is very energetic, and learned how to escape from his crate during his stay. Liz took it all in stride! ? Liz went above and beyond to make sure our puppy’s visit was a great one. We so highly recommend Liz to anyone! ??

Liz was awesome and took great care of our dog. We were trying to get out of town to beat a storm moving in (bomb-cyclone!!!). Liz reached out to us to see if she could take our dog earlier than we agreed to so we could get out before the storm hit. So Liz saves our trip and was a great dog sitter. We’ll definitely request Liz to watch our dog next time we need a sitter.

She did an excellent job getting to know my pup and taking all my concerns into consideration. I very much enjoyed the pics she sent every day and felt reassured leaving him in her care. Will definitely be using her again!

I'd love to know of any food or medical needs, any specific quirks they have (such as temperament and how social they are). I'm experienced with administering medication, but any specific instructions are always helpful.
