Pet care experience
I have taken care of others animals since I was 10 years old. I would watch the neighbors pets, walk their dogs, and watch their dogs while they worked. I currently foster dogs in home who need placement, and watch my friends dogs in my home while they vacation. I have been an Akita lover since 1999 when I got my first Akita. I currently own my female , and I am a huge advocate for the breed American Akita, helping out rescues when I am able , and supporting reputable breeders. I also admin an Akita group of FB to help with any advice or issues that other Akita owners need. I am a huge fan of northern breeds, and have 3 “grand dogs” that are Siberian Huskies. I do not take small breed dogs, however I do take large breed puppies!

First time boarding our beloved pup with someone and absolutely lucked out and found the BEST person! Dexter had so much fun- he can’t wait to go back! Absolutely 5 stars and then some!
Our dog loves to stay at Liz’s place! When we pick him up you can tell he was having the best time!!

She accepted our last minute request and have been taken care of Mooshy very well. My dog usually doesn’t like to play with smaller dogs but get along with her daughter’s husky pups really well! They walk her and send me updates all the time.

I have separate large areas in my house in case dogs need to be separated as well as my large fenced in yard. I also have the ability to crate if needed. I am a big believer in exercising dogs to cut down on anxiety and restlessness.

Take them on long walks, hikes in several area parks, and when weather permits-swimming in local creeks/rivers. I also love to take them on rides around town with trips to area stores that allow dogs for socialization benefits.

Availability
I am currently a SAH mom with two teenage kids. I have a huge fenced in yard to play with my dogs, and take them on several walks a day for socialization. As a family we hike every weekend with the dogs as well as taking them for many car rides during the week.
