Knowledgeable pet pro (WFH!)

Pet care experience

I have 2 dogs and a cat at home and have worked with animals since I was a child, including elderly and disabled pets. I do continuing training with my dogs to constantly learn new skills and enrichment strategies. I am familiar with dog and cat behavior, care tasks, medication administration, and more. I currently care for more than 5 dogs on walking, training, and just hanging out!

Liz is one of the best dog sitters I have ever found! She spoiled my dog so much I was not sure my dog would want to come home. She played outside with my dog, took her on walks, tried some enrichment activities, AND took my dog camping! She was quick to respond to messages while she watched my dog, and sent me dozens of photos and videos while she watched her. Her dog is very sweet and played really well with my dog (which is saying a lot because my dog can be a handful)! To top it all off she did a portrait of my dog for us. If it wasn’t clear already, I would recommend her to anyone for sure.

Liz does a great job with my dog. My dog is blind so she needs a little extra love when being watched and Liz does just that. She is always on top of potty breaks and keeps my dog out of trouble while outside (Tap always gets into things she shouldn’t as soon as you look away for even a second). I have Liz pet sit at every opportunity!

Liz came and stayed with my cats for a long weekend and was exactly what they needed. My cats can get separation anxiety but she made sure they still felt safe, and gave lots of treats. Liz also left the house clean. Will hire again!

Safety, trust & environment

My dogs have structured meal and crate times so I am familiar with that if needed. For longer house sitting stays, we can work on any specific needs such as bathing, medication, crating, training, etc. that needs done. Aside from serious business - I love animals and just want to have fun with them while keeping them safe!! On walks I ask that the owner provides treats for engagement. **Your pet MUST be taking a regular flea and tick preventative to be watched in our home.

Information Liz P. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog needs any specific care when it comes to feeding, sleeping, etc. Nothing is ever too difficult, I just like to know ahead of time to prepare correctly.

A typical day

During a stay, I like to provide dogs with puzzles, games, toys, and movie time - all of which I can provide if needed. I like to take dogs on walks and play in a yard if you have one! I love taking the dogs for exploration at the park on a long line for decompression.
