Vet student & dog trainer

Pet care experience

Updated 2021: I've relocated home to the Philadelphia area to attend UPenn school of veterinary medicine - another qualification of why I will give your pet the best care possible! I took time off from pet sitting during the end of my undergraduate career and as I worked full time. Right now I'm transitioning between working and school again, so I'll have much more time to give your pet the care they deserve. In addition to my qualifications described below, I currently have an Aussie, so I am well-versed in any herding dog needs. In short, I'm a true animal lover and I hope that I get the opportunity to care for your pet. I truly hope that I can gain the trust of being able to care for your pet, and if I do, I will do my best to give them the love that you do on a regular basis! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I’m currently a UVA pre-veterinary student with over a year’s experience working in a small animal clinic in Crozet. I’ve grown up with Labrador Retrievers while raising Seeing Eye Dogs under strict training regimens. Additionally I spent a month during undergrad working at UPenn’s Working Dog Center training working dogs such as future police and search and rescue dogs. I’ve had a great deal of experience dog sitting both puppies and large breeds. I also have experience with cats from my time working in the animal clinic as well as occasionally cat sitting. I’m comfortable administering medication and as well as following any restrictions your pet requires. I’m incredibly responsible and invested in taking care of your pets! I’ll do my best to give them the love that you do on a regular basis.

Liz was so awesome with my cat Miso!! She took the time to hang out with her and give her love outside of just feeding her and I was never short of a detailed update along with a few cute pics!

Liz was fantastic. Easy to communicate with, flexible with our schedule, and most importantly- took amazing care of our pup. She took him out for so many activities, I feel like he got a vacation, too. We received pictures and updates every so often, and it made us feel at ease leaving him with her. I would highly recommend Liz!
