Thanks for your understanding. *** :) Hello guys, gals and nonbinary pals! I'm Liz and I've been working with dogs, cats, small animals and reptiles for many years! My love for animals started at a very young age and I now care for them full time. :) I am intuitive, empathetic and patient as each pet is unique with different needs and temperaments. I am quick to research/ask questions if anything unexpected comes up. Your pets happiness and safety are my number one priority. My favorite part about petsitting is watching a pets personality unfold the more time I get to spend with them. I have been really enjoying petsitting for shy animals because it's so rewarding to see their personalities blossom during my visits. Not to totally pigeonhole myself in here, but I LOVE watching cats! As a cat-mom myself, I know they're special creatures that require a lot of trust. The best quote I've heard about cats is that they're a lesson in consent and boundaries. That's where my patience comes in. After a day or so of gaining their trust, our visits normally end in purring and sometimes even belly rubs. If you're looking for an experienced sitter that can provide extra love and play time for your feline friend, I'm your person! INDOOR/OUTDOOR CATS: Unfortunately I cannot allow your indoor/outdoor cat outside during our visits. Your cats safety is my #1 priority and this means being cozy inside. Rest assured that we will get lots of play time in to burn some of that energy off. Thanks for understanding!

I'd love to know your pets daily routines, favorite toys, and medical history. Veterinarian info and emergency contacts are helpful as well. For dogs: Do you have a fenced in yard? Are they good with other dogs and children? Please also let me know any rituals or behaviors you're currently training with them. I'd like to keep their daily lives as normal as possible and provide enrichment for them.
A typical day
Currently my main focus is cats! A typical day involves assessing your cats personality and needs based off of their body language, signals and information from you. My goal is to provide your pet with the same comfort and enrichment as you would! If your cat is shy and needs someone to sit with them on the floor for the whole visit, I'm here for it! If your cat is high energy and needs to run around the whole time, I'm here for that, too!

Availability
Petsitting is my full time job which means I'm typically available for shorter notice calls or longer drop-ins. I walk dogs on weekdays from about 11AM-2PM and tend to my cat/small animal clients in the morning/evenings and weekends.
