I love dogs. I have since I was 3 years old and we brought home our first puppy, Lucky, an Australian Shepherd. I grew up believing that our dogs are basically our equals, not only wanting but deserving of the same care and attention that we give people. I considered Lucky my brother. I have been a pet sitter and providing drop-in care for honestly longer than a decade. I started as early as a neighbor invited me to do so. It has probably been closer to two decades! When you leave your pet in my care, you'll get a slightly different experience than you might find elsewhere. It's your pet. It's your home. We'll design the time to fit your needs, and your pet(s)' needs. Do you just want them to have a chance to have a potty break and stretch their legs, and soak in some Vitamin D? Would be benefit more from a 15-20 minute walk, or maybe a 15-20 minute rigorous play session is better? Do they just want scratches, cuddles and a body to lean on? Do they need a mid-day meal due to medical needs? Are you expecting a package to be delivered that needs to be brought inside? Do you personally get separation anxiety from being away from your pet and would like a photo-text of them to brighten your day? I am also a certified energy healer with a focus in pets. I work with the 'parent' and the pet to find and release 'trapped' emotions and belief systems that are creating 'behavior problems' such as excessive/defensive inappropriately timed barking, chewing, accidents, concerns despite a clear health check from vet, turn in behavior (ie: sudden dislike of a previously beloved item or action), separation anxiety, and more.
