Growing up, I still remember the day my parents brought our first dog home (check out the pic of the cute cockapoo). I was 8, and my love for dogs has continued ever since! I spent the next 10 years learning "responsibility" by caring for our family pup. Although I've since moved away from home for graduate school (PhD in Clinical Psychology) and unfortunately haven't been able to get a pup of my own yet, my love for dogs continues. I have spent the past few years helping take care of my boyfriend's dog (pit-lab mix) and countless other friends' fur-babies (both big and small). Even though their not technically mine- I treat them like they are :) As my friends will tell you...I'm always a phone call away for a quick stop over, a long walk, or my personal favorite- dog hikes!
