Hi, I’m Liz and I’m pleased to meet other dog lovers! I love dogs, but don’t have one right now. I’ve discovered that a wonderful solution is to dog sit! I’m happy to share my love of furry friends with your furry friend :) Enjoy your long weekend away, and your pup and I will enjoy a stay-cation in Menlo Atherton area:). When you come back this is what your dog would tell you if he/she could talk: I missed you a ton, but I LIKE visiting Liz’s place!!! Thank you for letting me stay there while you were gone : We went for walks, and rides in the car, and went on some hikes too! We strolled to downtown Menlo Park and visited those stores where they have puppy cookies and a drink for me. (What are those called? I think you call them “pet stores”, but I think they’re stores just for me ;). I got lots of pats and attention from the people there. There’s a big grass area in the back of Liz’s complex, and I got to play fetch there every afternoon! In between we played games of chase-the-toy & peekaboo-chase around the sofa. I always win! Oh and did I mention tug-o-war? We played that too. And they have these hilarious little creatures there all the time. They chase each other around and around the big oak tree outside the window. I love to watch this. It makes me laugh (and sometimes bark a little;). What do you call those creatures? Oh ya – squirrels! Can we get some more of those in our neighborhood?? One day we went to Café Baronne and sat outside where everyone came to pet me. I guess I’m a rock star there – they all love me :) (Just saying). One afternoon was so sunny. After we played Frisbee catch, I got to take a nice nap on the patio by the squirrel tree. That was wonderful! I got distracted by the squirrels though;) Liz knows just how I like my food, and it’s always there right when I’m ready for it. Liz gives me snuggles and a treat after our nighttime potty walk. And before I go to bed she gives me lots of love and snuggles. Can I visit Liz next time you go on a trip? Liz loves me and neighbors there like me too! Plus there are parks and a college with lots of trees where we go on walks and visit our other dog friends and those funny squirrels… LOL! And you know what?? I get ALL the attention! There are no other dogs, cats, or kids, so it's all for me!!! Yay!
