I have been doing animal care for over 5 years in NYC. I lived in Washington Heights for several years and have recently moved to the Upper East Side. I give walking tours of the city. I can often be around all day but particularly on weekends and holidays I may have to be gone for several hours at a time but I am typically able to have a lot of flexibility. I have extensive experience with large dogs including pitbulls and dobermans. I particularly love working with older dogs, I have some experience with medications and have also worked with blind and deaf dogs occasionally. I will also take on puppies, particularly when I can be around all day. I have many reviews here on Rover and can also provide references if needed. Please reach out with any questions and booking requests and I will do my best to accommodate you and your pet! I am nearly always able to provide walks every 4 to 5 hours as needed. Occasionally during the holidays or busy weekends I may need to be gone 7 hours but I do my best to keep my schedule light when I have a dogsit or boarding. I am very careful with keys and locks, always making sure things are secure and that I do not lock myself out. I also do my best to walk dogs behind or next to me and do not let them sit right outside elevators. I am also careful to not run their toes over with the door. I prefer to watch dogs in their own home, I feel they behave better but from time to time I board in my home which is pet friendly and has well behaved dogs and is close to an awesome park and Gracie Mansion.
