Loves animals more than most things

Pet care experience

- Animals honestly make me so happy; pet sitting isn't a job for me, it's something I genuinely love doing. I would be honored and so pleased to care for your dog. -Growing up, we had a family dog (a beagle named Coco) whom I helped care for a great deal and loved very much. (We had her from 1998 to 2013.) - For the past year, I've been a volunteer dog walker at Wishbone Canine Rescue, a shelter in Bloomington, IL - For the past 6 years, I have been the go-to pet sitter for friends and friends-of-friends (References available - just ask!) - I am great at playing, cuddling, walking (even jogging!) - I'm totally willing to do whatever it takes to make sure your pup is healthy and happy while his/her parents are away. - I am a graduate student in the second year of my Master's program at ISU. I don't currently have a dog of my own, but I do have a rabbit, which is why I am unable to care for dogs in my own apartment.

Liz was AMAZING when taking care of my dog!! She went above and beyond to care for my scared and anxious dog. She gave me tons of photos and updates throughout her weekend, and I will definitely be asking her to dog sit again!!

Liz loves all animals. She is kind, caring and loving. She watches my two little dogs when I go away, and I never worry about the pups or the house. One of my dogs is 15 years old. He's always been ornery, but now he's more cranky than usual. Liz took the time to bond with him and they get along swimmingly. I used to worry about my pups when I had to go away. Now I know Liz really loves them. And she cares for them as well as I do. Now we have "no worries" vacations.

Liz did a great job with my puppy. She did half walk and half jog with him. She had also sent photos of the entire walk as well and they were so adorable. Although my puppy was a bit on the anxious side, he stopped after they turned off my block for only being 9 weeks. Liz arrived right on time, and came back on time to drop him off with me outside. This is my very first time using this site and this service for dog walking needs. I'd give her 5/5 stars as she was perfect with my puppy.

Information Liz C. would like to know about your pet

Some info I'd like to know about your babies: quirks to look out for (food aggression, hard player likely to nip, etc), history of slipping out of collars/harnesses on walks, times they usually eat, how often they like to go potty, anything you'd like to tell me. I do not discriminate against any dog breeds, but my ability to care for larger dogs can sometimes be limited by my physical size (I am small). If pups are larger than 100 pounds, I get anxious I won't be able to contain them if something goes wrong -- BUT if the pup is generally well-behaved and I can meet and get to know him/her beforehand, I should be okay. :)

A typical day

If there is a path or park close to the home, we will make our way there for walks. Otherwise, we'll stick around residential areas, away from super-busy streets. We will walk and run and play and cuddle! I have lots of energy and enjoy playing with dogs probably about as much as they enjoy playing.
