WFH sitter w/fenced yard!

Pet care experience

I know how important it is to find a trustworthy petsitter, so I will care for your pets as if they are my own! I have over twelve years of experience caring for many types of animals and currently have one dog, Rhys. I moved to SLC in July with my husband, and I work from home full-time.

Liz was so sweet to take excellent care of our pup. She sent us updates and let us know how she was doing along the way. She was patient and loving towards our pup and gave her love and a safe space. We can’t wait to reach out to Liz again for a sleepover for our girl.

We had such a great experience leaving our dog with Liz! We were able to meet up prior to the boarding to make sure it would be a good fit, and it was immediately obvious how trustworthy she is and that it would be easy to leave our dog with her. She stayed in constant communication with us during the stay and sent many pictures showing our dog having lots of fun and enjoying herself. She went above and beyond making sure that our dog was eating enough of her food (she’s great at picking through to find the treats) and truly cared about her well-being. I’m so glad that we found Liz and we absolutely plan to ask her to watch our precious dog again. We highly recommend her - she’s wonderful!

Liz is always very punctual and takes amazing care of my cat. My cat might even like her more than he likes me…

Liz was so sweet with my Winnie! She kept me updated through the night with photos and details about playtime, nap time, and potty time!

Experience: Since childhood, I have owned multiple dog breeds, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits. I also have experience caring for wallabies, turtles, fish, and birds. I have previous experience administering insulin and oral medications to cats and dogs. I have completed the Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid Course. Meet & Greets for all new clients: I offer one free <30-minute M&G for every new client. Subsequent M&Gs and other visits such as key pick-ups & returns will be charged as a cost adjustment. Please inquire about pricing if subsequent visits are necessary. Boarding Policies: 1. M&Gs are an opportunity for you and your pup to tour my home and backyard. I do not introduce my dog during M&Gs. 2. Your dog must be crate-trained and bring their crate for their stay. I only crate dogs when they need a quick break or for their safety when I step out for an appointment/errand. 3. If you are a new client requesting a stay for 7 days or longer, then I typically require a "trial day" to ensure my home is a great fit for your pup! A "trial day" is 4-8 hours of daycare at my home for $15. Drop-in & Walk Info: 1. Schedule: I work from home from 6:30a-2:30p, so I could drop in (or walk) mid-day during my lunch break depending on the distance.
 2. My weekends are typically open, so I love to take dogs for long walks, weather permitting. I'm also excited to explore the SLC-area hiking spots! Housesitting Info: 1. Schedule: If I am housesitting in your home, I will spend the night and then head home to take care of my dog in the morning. I will drop back in mid-day and for dinnertime. Then I will return to your home for bedtime. If you are looking for constant care (i.e. staying at your home during the day rather than dropping in), please inquire about pricing. 2. I am happy to collect mail and newspapers, water indoor plants, take out the trash, etc. As a proponent of leash laws, I always walk dogs with a leash and suitable collar or harness. For clients who have backyards, I will make sure your pet is secure and never left outside without supervision. I do not take clients' dogs to dog parks.

Information Liz B. would like to know about your pet

Before sitting a pet, I would like to know any special behaviors, prohibited toys/activities, and what s/he likes to do after a walk. I have no breed preferences - I have experience sitting dogs of all sizes from a Chihuahua to a Great Dane!

A typical day

I love going for a walk through my new neighborhood and finding parks. Playing fetch and other games in my backyard is an excellent way for dogs to expend energy and get exercise.
