New to Rover! NOT new to pet care!!

Pet care experience

I have resumed walking/check-in services for all clients, while implementing COVID-19 safety measures. It’s your choice if you’d like me to use your personal leash or mine. I have a synthetic leash that is strong yet very easy to sanitize after each walk/visit! I also wear a mask while doing check ins, and while meeting you at your home to pick up your dog for walks. I’m new to Rover & my rates reflect that. However, I’m NOT new to pet care and training!! In fact. It’s a passion of mine. I can’t remember a time that I did not have dogs & other pets of some sort in my life. I grew up knowing that pets, big & small, were cherished members of our family! And from a young age, I was drawn to their training & care. Presently, my own family has 10 furry, feathered & scaly pets ~ a 5-yr old Belgian Malinois, an 8-yr old lop-eared house rabbit, a parakeet, 2 reptiles, and 5 hens. We have also fostered many puppies over the years. I KNOW from personal experience how hard it can be to leave your pets home alone when you need to be away for the day or longer. But you can have peace in knowing that your pets will receive my full attention & TLC (& maybe a dog treat or two from my favorite local bakery) while under my watch! I look forward to meeting you and your furry crew. Drop me a note if you have questions or need to discuss other pets beyond dogs & cats. ❤️

This was my first time using Rover and it was a great experience! I was hesitant to let a stranger into my home but Liz was fantastic with my pets! They all loved her and she went above and beyond for us. I loved that she took pictures of my fur babies so I knew they were ok. I was notified of when the visit began and ended. She was great with communication and is just genuinely a nice person. I came home and all was clean so I didn't have that extra chore. I will definitely use her again to watch my pets and definitely recommend her. Truly a pleasure, thank you Liz.

What a wonderful experience working with Liz was from start to finish. I was admittedly nervous and so were my dogs. She did an excellent job to give me confidence that everything will work out fine. It not only worked out fine it went better than I ever imagined it could have. I will be utilizing Liz’s services again with confidence.

Information Liz A. would like to know about your pet

I am not partial to any particular breed, and will happily dote on mutts and purebreds alike! However, regardless of your dog's breed, size, or gender, I would like to know that your dog is friendly with nice people you welcome into your home (like pet sitters!). I also need an honest assessment from you as to whether your dog is social with other dogs. First and foremost, I want to keep your dog (and others) safe and happy!

A typical day

Walks and playtime will be interesting & healthy for your dog's nose, mind, and body! Depending on your dog's fitness level and needs, we can walk (or even jog) around your neighborhood... or play games in your yard. I enjoy crafting interaction time specifically for each dog or pet, and I love to get to know their personalities over many visits in order to accomplish this!
