Pet care experience
Growing up, my first exposure to dog care came through my family's dog Minnie. I was able to walk, feed, and play with her for the 10 years we had her, as well as helping her to feel comfortable around humans and other dogs. I have gained more subsequent experiences by babysitting for friends’ dogs and walking/socializing with dogs through a local shelter. Though my main experience in medicating animals comes with cats, I can also give your pup some oral medication if need be. I am comfortable with pretty much any type of dog (or cat!) and I look forward to helping you care for your furry friend.

I currently live in an apartment, so I am limited in terms of space, plus I have a cat of my own that I take care of. As for sitting in clients’ homes, I am happy to do whatever activities the pet normally likes, and will stick as close to their typical food routine as possible.

I would like to know about your dog's comfort level around strange humans and other dogs, as well as any dietary restrictions or physical limitations. Also, I have no breed preferences, but I would prefer a dog who does not have trouble on a leash, as I have an injury on my knee from my childhood dog pulling me over while on a leash.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog to any of the various parks for a fun, vigorous walk. If they are comfortable around other dogs, I would love to take them to the dog park too; if not, we can play with toys at home and have just as much fun. Also, I would love to take your dog to Sonic or Andy's Frozen Custard for some dog-safe ice cream as a special treat.

Availability
I usually spend the days at work, though as a substitute teacher, my schedule is more flexible than with other professions. If I’m not at work, my schedule is open to come spend time with your fur baby!
