Hey there I’m Lissette, a working professional with a passion for animals. @settspets on Instagram Experience as a kennel technician for dogs of all breed n sizes. I've been a housesitter for the last 5 years and absolutely love what I do! It brings me such pride to protect others spaces and keep their pets at peace while they're away. It makes me happy knowing people can just enjoy their vacations knowing their babies are in safe hands. I'm certified in CPR, First Aid, AED. In home security cams are okay but I ask that you let me know of any recording devices and do not keep recording devices in private spaces in the home such as bathing or changing areas during your scheduled housesit. I’m able to do the basics but go beyond that by including bonding and exercise when I sit. I enjoy making time more exciting for pets who are interested. Photo updates are my cup of tea, so expect to see lil updates of your pup having a blast! 🥰

Lissette was awesome! She house sat my two cats and dogs. She sent adorable update pictures of everyone and even cleaned up some while house sitting. She asked a lot of thorough questions prior to the sitting to make sure everyone was well taken care of. Definitely recommend her to look after your loved fur children as well!
Wow, wow, wow. I can not recommend Lissette enough. I have a very anxious pup and she was absolutely perfect with her. Took Betty on walks, hung out with her outside, gave her bedtime snuggles, and lots of love. I received precious pictures, and I could tell by the look on my baby’s face how happy she was. When I returned home Betty was clearly relaxed and happy, and my home was completely spotless. Lissette kept my home and belongings beautiful and went above and beyond to help forward a package to me while on vacation. She is a RARE GEM and a God send! I will use her for the rest of my life and recommend her without reservation. Honestly I wish I could keep her for myself, but she deserves every success and your business. Book with her.
Lissette was absolutely amazing! She sent photos and updates each time she stopped by and made sure to give everyone lots of love. Our dog and cat both have some health concerns, so she made sure to give us updates about their appetites, etc. Lissette even folded laundry and sweeped our entire house without us asking! I know my babies felt safe and loved all weekend. Highly recommend!

My clients typically meet me once before the booking at their home to give me the lay of the land, show me the guest bedroom, or whatever living area they prefer I sleep and introduce me to any pets that may be too shy or defensive later otherwise. Super friendly pets (used to strangers) or repeat clients (who's pet I'm very familiar with) can opt out of meeting beforehand, just text me any details I may need or a leave a letter with medication/feeding instructions + pets likes/dislikes. I like to bring in any mail/packages, water plants, take out trash on designated days and clean after myself, ensuring that each client comes home to their home as they left it. On the final day I prefer to launder any bedding from the guest bedroom as well as sanitize the shower/sinks/toilet that I used during the booking.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs that I can account for. Let me know if they are elderly, activity restricted, or require medications. I prefer not to crate pets bc it can be very distressing on them to be locked up especially if they are already house trained. I personally do not support animal captivity. If the pet has a significant behavioral issue that may require it in short intervals please talk to me beforehand!
A typical day
A typical day starts with breakfast and a walk. Dogs are very outdoorsy creatures so I love to give them plenty of opportunities to move their bodies on a walk or at the dog park. If there is a dog park, river walk. area, or outdoor patio place your pet enjoys please let me know and I'd be happy to take them by. We spend time being cozy after exercise, during this time I make sure plants are okay. I may work on things on my Macbook. If there are toys in the house I will spark up play at random times through the day, give backyard time, walk around the neighborhood periodically. Evening time meal. I always let dogs potty one last time before bed and do not mind letting pets snuggle with me at night for maximum pet happiness unless otherwise instructed.
