Shady fenced yard, walks in park

Pet care experience

I worked for a pet sitting service in Austin for years (Marigold) and I had an established client list. Now I've settled in BCS and I miss my furry friends. I love to walk and run with dogs, I am in a safe, quiet neighborhood with a pretty park nearby, and I have experience with multiple breeds, ages, and issues. I have worked with dog trainers and I understand that dogs respond to gentle redirection of behavior, rather than punishment or yelling. My house and fenced yard are comfortable and dog-friendly. I will ensure your dog gets the level of exercise that is needed, because a tired dog is a happy dog. Most importantly, I will give your dog the loving attention s/he craves. Woof!

Lisa and Tilly had a great time!! I hate leaving my dog for any amount of time, but Lisa made the separation enjoyable for me and Tilly! She kept me informed every day, along with plenty of pictures. Tilly got to know her dog, “Gary”, who was a great playmate. I highly recommend Lisa when you need a dog sitter!

This is the best dog sitter. She came highly recommended by a good friend. Our nine year old spoiled Malteese had never been left with a stranger so I was nervous. This couple Lisa and Hugh went above and beyond. Lisa had a funeral and a family emergency. Instead of canceling on me at the last minute, Hugh stayed behind and watched Toby He did a wonderful job, and we are very grateful. He attended to Toby's every need and I understand Lisa also does the same.

Lisa is amazing! She is very knowledgeable about dogs and treated our dog like her own! We definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone and we look forward to her watching our dog again!

I have a fenced yard and a mellow, happy, 11 year old hound mix to keep your dog company. We have an XL crate if needed, buckets of toys, cozy spots to snuggle up in all over the house, and a separated feeding area. We keep our garbage can well out of reach and don't leave any food on counters.

I'll have lots of questions about your dog's preferences and needs, because I want to make sure your dog is happy and comfortable during the stay or visit.

A typical day

We take a long walk an hour after breakfast and have some play sessions in the backyard during the day. We usually enjoy sleepy time on the porch in the afternoon (leashed, with water bowl). Then it's time for dinner, a quick pee break outside, and playtime inside, before another long walk to watch the sunset. We always mix up our route because my dog's goal is to pee on the entire city and smell ALL the smells.
