Fun-loving dog care!

Pet care experience

I'm a passionate pet-lover and enjoy being around and working with animals! I own a sweet frenchie dog named Pickles, who loves other dogs, and loves playing with them! Dogs in particular have a great relationship with, as I find it very fun and fulfilling to be around them. I've also had many years of experience working with pets. I worked at a vet hospital for 8 years, where I walked dogs in the nearby neighborhood, did light grooming, fed pets, and gave dogs and cats medication. I also worked at a dog grooming salon over the holiday season, where I bathed and dried dogs, and did some light brushing and nail trims. Lastly, I walked dogs for a local dog-walking company, and cared for other friends' pets. I want to continue providing pet care by offering dog-walking, boarding, and possibly drop-in visits also. I feel it's important to spend quality time with each pet while you're away, so they feel comfortable and happy! I'm available most weekdays and weekends. I live on the south end of town and am available to walk dogs and drop-ins for SeaTac, Tukwila, Kent, Des Moines, and Federal Way. I care for pets most weekdays, weekends, and occasionally some holidays too. It's the only kind of work I'm doing right now so I have plenty of time for them! I live in a bottom-floor apartment with easy access to grass for walking. And I own a very dog-friendly dog who's very sociable and playful.

It was our first time boarding our dog and I can’t think of a better person to take care of him! Lisa was friendly, communicative, and just made us feel comfortable leaving our beloved dog with her for 3 days! She took our dog for walks, fed him regularly, and sent us cute photos while we were away. Highly recommended!

Information Lisa W. would like to know about your pet

For dog boarding, I would like to know the temperament of the dog. Meet and Greets are required to ensure they get along with me and my dog. I do know how to give basic oral medications, and I have administered basic injected medications also during my time working at the vet. Still, it may be a good idea for you to go over the medication process with me (perhaps there's a certain way you do it that the pet responds to well; i.e., maybe the pet is held a certain way or given a treat afterwards, etc.).

A typical day

I can walk dogs in your neighborhood or I can take them to a nearby park, whichever preferred and if time allows. For drop-ons, I can play with your pooch inside your home if you want or in the backyard. I also offer dog boarding in my home for fellow dog-friendly dogs.
