Welcome, My name is Lisa and I am so excited that you are reading more about me and the pet services I offer. My small business is called Okemos Trail Pet Services and I provide Pet and/or House Sitting, daily Check-in Visits, and Dog Walking. I provide services for all animals but have the most experience with dogs, cats, and fish. I am insured and bonded, received my certificate in pet CPR and First Aid training, and am currently enrolled in college to become a licensed veterinary technician. My family and I live in Okemos along the trail system that cuts through the Okemos Preserve neighborhood. We share our living space with our black lab, Daisy, and our rescue kitty, Jane. I have a background in Fisheries and Wildlife Management but most recently stayed home to raise kids and work in the public schools. I fostered cats, kittens, and dogs for the Capital Area Humane Society for three years. Many were sick and needed medication, seniors, too young, or too nervous in a kennel environment and came to live with us until they were ready for a family of their own. My husband and I have had dogs in our homes for over 20 years. Rates: Daily Check-in Visits: $20/30 - Includes feeding, fresh water, outdoor break, waste clean-up, cuddles and belly rubs. The time and GPS location are tracked and reported through Rover so you can be sure that visits and walks are happening. Picture updates and report cards are uploaded to your Rover account at the end of the visit. Dog Walking: $20/30 minutes - Includes 30 minute walk tracked by GPS and reported through Rover, waste clean-up during walk, water break and cuddles. Additional dogs are $5. Picture updates and report cards are uploaded to your Rover account at the end of the visit. Pet Sitting (overnight): $65/night - Includes overnight stay in your home for 12 hours and one dog walk (30 min). House checks, taking out garbage, and mail collection are also included. Additional walks or visits may be purchased at a reduced price. Picture updates and reports are provided. Pet Sitting (daytime): $15/hr with a two hour minimum required.
