Pet care experience
Hello! I am so excited for the opportunity to care for your fur babies! I’ve been a pet owner since my earliest memory. Currently owning two dogs, two cats a bird and my 19 year old son owns two ferrets that owns space in our home on occasion as well. My husband and I live in a home near the nature center, nature trails and walking paths with many smells and sites to see. As a nurse I am familiar with human health conditions and this understanding translates well with animal health. With the years of pet owning, I am well versed, and well researched in animal health needs. I have done extensive training with my puppies and can read animal behavior and warning signs. Having owned a husky with seizures I am familiar with special needs and giving medication.

This is our 2nd time booking with Lisa. We will never go anywhere else for our fur baby. Lisa sent pictures everyday and connected with us during our vacation. She took care of Ripley like he was her own ❤️❤️
We can always guarantee that Huck is well taken care of when he stays with Lisa! She provides the cutest pictures too!
I have a high strung dog that needs patience and understanding. Lisa’s care and communication were excellent! I think my dog did not want to leave her home. Highly recommend.
Lisa and her husband were great with our puppy Milo! Lisa sent us lots of pictures and updates, Milo got lots of outdoor time and long walks to let out his energy, and they were also very understanding about some negative behaviors our puppy was exhibiting, even doing some training with him during the time he was with them.

It is important for me to know if there are any food allergies or specific treats that your pet needs, daily rituals, bathroom needs, etc. Any anxieties or concerns I need to be aware of. does your dog get along with other dogs? Does your dog take any medications? How does your pet play? Do they “play” growl and mouth? What are warning signs I should be aware of?
A typical day
With free range of the house and daily opportunity for walks as we live near the nature reserve as well as a park with paved paths and walkways. There are lots of smells and lots of wildlife to view. We may place pups in closed rooms for pet safety and comfort, as rest time occurs, for separation with meals, or pet friends come and go. We will place pups in crates as per your routine and may ask you to bring along their crate and any comforting items they may have.

Availability
I work from home and my pets are my office mates. I am able to monitor all situations within my home, as well as give lots of attention and snuggles. My husband is present and fully engaged with all of the animals after work and on the weekends and is as much of an animal lover as I am. We are able to go for walks after work and excited to bring along extra animals on the walk or independently if the walk warrants it. I love training the pups and find it so gratifying when I see progress, let me know if you need me to work on anything! Potty breaks every 2-4 hours or (emergency potty breaks as needed). Interactive toys and play. Do you have a pack of 3, in your family? Just message me, I’m happy to take 3 if they are from the same family. I’m happy to bathe and brush your puppy (see profile for fees).
