Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Lisa, I am 32 years old and moved to San Jose from Germany last year. I´m doing a self-scheduled online course in graphic design at the moment, so I am very flexible! I grew up with all kinds of pets (dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats, birds...) and can never get enough of cuddling and playing with them! I have experience in sitting dogs of all ages and sizes (I have two sisters, one with Chihuahuas, and one with a Doberman of which I took care a lot ;)) and also took care of cats a lot. Since my husband and I don´t know how long we´ll stay in California until we move again, and want to travel a lot the next years, we don´t have any own pets at the moment, so I´d love to take care of yours! :) If you consider me as a sitter, we can of course meet in advance and get to know each other in person before you entrust your best friend to me.

Lisa is a wonderful dog sitter! Our Mitzi was a stray so the first two years of her life were probably very traumatic. Consequently she gets nervous when strangers come to the home and she has some separation anxiety when we leave her. With that as a starting point, Lisa had no problem making Mitzi feel calm and content. Lisa is obviously very dog savvy and knows how to approach nervous dogs. We couldn’t be more pleased with Lisa and will definitely use her again!
Lisa is taking care of our dog sometimes and she just does a great job. She is very loving and caring and our dog loves her. He starts to cry on the way to her house as soon as he realizes it’s going to Lisa’s house. He gets so hyper in the driveway so when I open the back door of the car he jumps out and can’t wait to say hi to her :) She is very responsible and follows our instructions. Even though they can be time consuming sometimes. I would always recommend her, pets will love her <3

Of course I have to know if your pet has any special needs, if your dog is friendly with other dogs, when and how long you usually take it for walks, how much to feed and so on...I´m sure any loving pet owner will tell me all that anyway!
A typical day
Going for a long walk in the park, playing fetch, cuddling, training commands...whatever your pet likes best and whatever you instruct me to do with your best friend!
