I grew up in a home that was filled with dogs and cats. I have never been without my own dog since childhood. As an adult I have always had a pack of three or four dogs. I was lucky enough to have a dad that never said no to an animal. My dogs are a very important part of my life, my life and plans revolve around my pets. I also work hard to save other dogs and cats. I am on the board of an animal rescue and function as the dog adoption coordinator. When I agree to take a dog in I see all needs are met, medically, foster home placement and all the love. I also foster dogs in my home when I have no placement. Every minute of most days is spent loving, caring for and improving the lives of animals. Everyone in my life and who I meet would certainly trust me to care for their pets.

Lisa is amazing with all animals! I've seen her care for cats, dogs, and chickens and she treats them all as if they were her own. I love animals but Lisa has a special bond with them, even my Yorkie girls will follow her around rather than sit with me. She has cared for foster puppies and worked day and night to get them adopted to good homes. She's fostered a momma cat and her kittens and again worked tirelessly to find good homes for them. She ensures all fur babies under her care eat nutritious food, and have clean areas to sleep and play. Your fur babies will be well cared for and will be safe with Lisa allowing you the time to enjoy your vacation, or to be worry free at work knowing she will walk and care for them.

My home is very much equipped to provide attention, love and care to both cats and dogs. I have a large yard for play and exercise. I also have a 50' x 30' privacy fenced area which allows dogs to run and play off leash as they cannot get out. I live outside of town and do walk my own dogs down country roads for miles of sniffing and exercise. Well behaved dogs of course will be in my home like one of my own dogs. My pets have free range of my home, furniture included.

I certainly want to know of food restrictions, if they can have treats, are they crate trained. Any aggression with other dogs, do they eat cats, and how are they with children? Anything pertinent to me keeping your dog safe is what I want to know. Do you prefer they not be allowed on the furniture, as I don't want to break rules you have in your own home. j
A typical day
I love to walk the country roads when possible. I let my dogs sniff and enjoy their walk. I do like to change up the walking area too occasionally so they can experience new scents. I will walk trails too. I am not a fan of dog parks as I cannot trust all dog owners to manage their own dogs; and my concern is the safety of mine.

I am an RN that is dropping to very part time as I am trying to give animal care a try full time. Every day at work for years I have said why do I do this job? I just want to be a dog walker!! Well now is that time, why not?
