Pet care experience
I started as a puppy raiser for a service dog organization 10 years ago. Through them I learned the value of not only love and affection but also expectations and structure for a dog’s emotional well being. Two of the labs I raised are still with me and are happy well behaved VERY socialized dogs. I have cared for several dogs since living here in PS (one who had not been ‘socialized’ and she had no issues with my two chill dogs) - I’ve only done this for neighbors but all have told me I should do this for others since the dogs all love being here and are happy when they come back to stay .. so I’m now posting with Rover! I’m excited!

Monkey had the most delightful time with Lisa and her doggies! Lisa took great care to keep in communication, sending hilarious updates throughout the overnight stay. I have 2 boarder collies that spent 2 nights over at Lisa’s home. My pups gave her some trouble, however, she communicated with me and did her best to accommodate them even at her own inconvenience. I can’t thank her enough for putting up with them while our family went on a vacation. I would HIGHLY recommend her!
We felt so fortunate to connect with Lisa! It was our first time away from our dog, Delphi, and we came to Palm Springs just in time for a major heat wave so I was nervous about leaving him. Lisa responded to all of my questions promptly and thoroughly, putting my mind at ease. She took excellent care of Delphi was really great about sending me updates with photos and videos throughout his stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Lisa and we will definitely book with her next time we come to PS.
Lisa was a truly fantastic caretaker and mom for our very special boarder collie puppy, Luna. It was our first time letting her stay overnight without us, and we couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful, caring, fun, and attentive person to watch our dear Luna. Not only did Luna have an amazing time, with great adventures outdoors, she was very happy and immediately felt right at home. Lisa kept us updated through out the time with photos and play-by-play of Luna's adventures. Lisa is a wonderful and caring human and we can easily say Luna has a home away from home now in Palm Springs!

A typical day
I am completely flexible when it comes to your dogs specific needs... be it diet, exercise, or play... I have done everything from walking leashed dogs in town or in my neighborhood, or hiking trails to ball throwing at the Palm Springs dog park... you tell me what they need. I can do it.
