Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs of various breeds, sizes and ages for family, friends, and now people on Rover. I must say, I've met some pretty awesome dogs and people through Rover.

Lisa was absolutely amazing!! I was super anxious leaving my dog for 3 days and 2 nights as my old dog never needed to be cared for by anyone except family. I know how scarry it is for dogs to be left at a strange place and I've found that doing something they like, such as going for a walk, shortly after arrival helps them to relax and focus on something other than you. If you would rather have me stay at your place, I will do my best to keep them on the schedule and routine they are used to.

A typical day
I will ensure your dog(s) gets plenty of attention, play time, and exercise. I live very close to Willow River State Park and they have awesome walking trails. If your dog does not like car rides, my neighborhood is quiet and also a good place for a walk.

Availability
I am retired, but clean a couple houses and a furniture store on a part-time basis. The longest I'm away is typically 4 to 5 hours on cleaning days. I don't have a dog of my own at this time. My Ella, sadly crossed the rainbow bridge in December of 2021. Crazy how your life totally changes when they are gone. I miss all my dogs more than anything and will some day have another dog or two. In the meantime, I get my dog fix by taking care of other people's dogs.
