Experienced, reliable petsitter!
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and cats, so I’ve been an animal lover from the start. As a renter I can’t have pets of my own, so petsitting is a great way for me to still get to spend time with animal friends! Pets are part of the family, and when I’m looking after your fur-babies, I will show them all the love and attention just like I would if they were my own. Whether you just need a few drop-in visits, dog walking, or full overnight housesitting, I’m happy to help.
Reviews
Lisa always takes such good care of our dog Mason. She keeps us informed and sends tons of pictures. So thankful for the countless times Lisa has watched Mason!
Everyone should be booking Lisa for their sitter!!!
Lisa was fantastic. Came home to a perfectly clean house and happy pets. I appreciated the many photos and great communication. I’m hopeful Lisa is willing to watch our pup and cats again.
Lisa is Great!!!! Done hesitate using her, you won’t be disappointed.

Safety, trust & environment
Trusting someone in your home while you are gone is a big deal, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I do not invite guests to clients’ homes, and I do my best to leave the space as I found it. In short, I will take care of your home the same way I’d want someone to take care of mine. In addition to pet care, I am happy to gather your mail, water your plants, put the bins out on trash day, and just make sure things are generally okay in and around your home.
Information Lisa P. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about any health issues, physical limitations, behavior triggers, or personality quirks I should be aware of beforehand. In addition, it is always helpful to have info about daily routines, activity needs, and most importantly, where you keep their treats!
A typical day
I like to be consistent with your pet’s regular routine, so I will follow any instructions you have for me. I will ensure they get their necessary amount of physical activity and play time, and lots of love and attention! I also have plenty of experience with pets who are skittish around new people, whether they simply have an introverted personality, or a more complex history of trauma. I always pay close attention to the signals they give so I can respect their boundaries and let them warm up to me on their own time.

Availability
I work as an elementary school paraeducator, so during the school year I can only do housesits with pets who are okay being home alone for 7-8 hours on weekdays. For drop-in visits, I can work those in before & after school hours. As a school employee I have all of the usual holiday breaks, and during those times I can accommodate pets who require more care throughout the day. Please note that even on weekends and holidays, I still typically can only take pets who are okay being home alone for at least 2 hours. I serve Tacoma and the immediate surrounding areas in Pierce County.
