Three Leashes, LLC

Pet care experience

Thank you for viewing my profile. I now service new and existing clients from two locations. North Fork location in Greenport, NY is served seasonally May 1st-December 1st. I always put the well being of guests and resident pets here first, when boarding I will book according to best fit together during scheduled stay. This is not a kennel environment where dogs are put in runs, fed and walked couple times a day, its my home, where the dogs will be living and sleeping with us like part of the family, so the dogs we watch at any given time need to be compatible and we require a meet and greet prior to first stay. We do make exceptions for young and larger dogs that are well behaved. I do this to make every guest and resident comfortable and least amount of stress. I specialize in senior care. My home is especially accommodating with ramps, doggie steps, belly bands, diapers, wee wee pads, raised dog beds, rug runners, a one level home and gradual steps outside to yard and home full time. I also take extra precautions by also putting a barrier gate at front door for the extra curious or "want to bolt" type dogs. Benefits of your dog staying with me in a home, is company overnight unlike a kennel or vets office they close the doors after hours and your dog is alone overnight. We do provide crates to accommodate clients instructions, no need to lug yours. I do not keep your dog in a crate all day but do have availability to separate dogs unfamiliar with each other, they are a welcome part of our family. We never leave your dog unattended outside alone. Our gates are locked at all times and cameras monitoring premises. It’s a vacation for your dog as well and they will go home happy and very tired from all the socialization and interactions they may not be used to. Why I love dog sitting I have no two legged children, only 4 legged. I have always had a better connection to animals then I have people. Over 30 years with extensive adult experience caring for both dogs and cats on a daily basis, local pet sitting, volunteering with TNR, hurricane disaster relief animal rescue, fostering, networking and rescue transport. My experience administering medication Yes. I am experienced in pill administration, insulin and sub q fluids Drop off / pick up is from 7:00 am - 8:00pm. I am flexible to accommodate travel airline delays with open communication as I understand delays are inevitable. I have a fenced in yard and will be with your pets full time. Your dog will be a welcome part of the family and follow the same routine as resident pets and myself for eating sleeping, playing and daily walks if allowed. If you require a crate we have them on site no need to bring your own. Please note I do specialize in senior dogs and do not accept puppies at this time.

Lisa is wonderful - a kind and genuine human who really cares about her animals and making your fur babies feel at home with her. I felt so comfortable knowing my baby was in good hands while I was away. She gave my girl lots of love and a real home away from home. I couldn’t recommend Lisa highly enough and will absolutely be using her services again!

Lisa gave Kevin such a wonderful weekend at her home. She is very responsive and understanding about my dog. She gave him plenty of exercise and a loving home for him to feel comfortable enough to sleep with her vs the floor. I felt really good leaving him for the weekend with Lisa, knowing he was well taken care of.

Lisa did a fabulous job of taking care of my 16-year old yorkie, Rocco. I was nervous to leave Rocco, but Lisa put my mind at ease and cared for Rocco as if he was her own. She was extremely responsive and sent me updates daily. I highly recommend Lisa!
