Pet care experience
We are a family of five with a strong love for animals. We love living the country life in our home on 8 acres in South Berwick. Lisa grew up pet sitting from an early age, worked for three years in a veterinary clinic, and has always considered herself an avid animal lover. Mark grew up with many dogs and farm animals. Our children have inherited our love for animals. Your pet will be loved from the moment they walk through our door and we can assure you we will do everything to make them as comfortable and as "at home" as possible. We homeschool and are able to be home much of the day to provide your pet with lots of TLC. We look forward to meeting you and your furry friend(s)! Our children have a strong desire to give back to the animal non-profits, so, we've decided to donate ten percent of our pet sitting proceeds to local animal non-profits!

I highly and strongly recommend Lisa and her family for all of your dog care needs. She showed and gave Rascal lots of love, kindness, patience, and attention throughout his multiple stays. I have used many dog sitters over the years and Lisa and her family are our absolute favorite! Your pup will receive copious amounts of love, attention, and affection and will be taken care of by a family that deeply loves dogs. Rascal was a happy and content pup after his time spent in Lisa’s care.
Lisa, Mark and the kids were so amazing with our dog Axel! We were sent updates and could easily see that he had made himself at home and was being very well cared for! They took him on outings, enjoyed giving him plenty of snuggle time, which is his favorite, and went above and beyond. We were able to relax and not worry about Axel while we enjoyed our vacation. They truly made him part of their family while there, which in the end is what we all want for our dog when we can’t be there. We highly recommend them, and will happily use them whenever we need to in the future!
The Gove's have watched several of our animals over the years and they are fantastic. We always say that our animals look better when they come home than when we drop them off. The kids are amazing with animals of all types, and I trust them completely. They are my go-to pet sitters!
I have known Lisa and Mark for more than 20 years and they are the ultimate dog-lovers! They fostered our dog Khalessi 6 years ago after saving her from a kill shelter until we adopted her. They nursed her back to health and gave her a loving home with their dog Simon and two little girls. Khalessi is to this day the most gentle and lovable pup and the time spent with Lisa and Mark's family gave her the warm home she needed. I can recommend Lisa and Mark to dog sit your fur babies without reservation!
