I grew up with a golden retriever and as an adult have been mommy to 2 dogs since 2009. One of my babies passed away last year and while I'm not ready to get another dog I would love for Penny to make more friends! I have also cared for numerous friends and neighbors dogs, cats, birds and rabbits both in my home and drop in/stays in their homes. I do have experience administering oral medications and insulin injections. I work from home for a tech company so I can give plenty of potty breaks, playtime and loving! Our large fenced yard has plenty of grass that is accessible via a doggy door for those who know how to use them. Otherwise, I am home all the time and can let pups out as much as needed. Our neighborhood is great for walks with very little traffic and no loose dogs. Fetch is a favorite game here and I'm an expert thrower! Since I am fortunate enough to be able to do this in addition to my job, a portion of my Rover earnings will be donated to Alaqua Animal Refuge and the Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network.
