Nice to meet you :) My name is Lisa and I hope to have the opportunity to offer safe and loving care for your beloved family member(s) I have been dog boarding in my home for over 15 years. Myself and my family live in a large 5 bedroom home on a half acre property in beautiful North Vancouver surrounded by mountains, trails and green space. I’m passionate about what I do and have been raising and caring for dogs all of my life. I have extensive experience boarding, training as well as in pet nutrition. It should go without saying but I believe in only positive training methods and treating every animal with the upmost kindness and respect at all times. I believe in only positive reinforcement methods, repetition and praise. I am also the owner of a local pet treats company which allows me to work from home most of the time so your pup will have loads of care and attention and healthy treats! We are a family of 3 and so there’s generally always somebody here to give attention and there’s definitely no shortage of love and play time. I have cared for 100’s of dogs over the years with a variety of needs from training to healthcare needs including administering a large variety of medications including diabetic. I also have extensive experience with senior dogs who require extra care etc. Personally I’m very healthy, athletic, outdoorsy and I’m happy to provide daily walks, runs and trail time to suit your pups exercise needs. I will also send regular video and photo updates so you can follow along and see how your best buddy or buddies are doing while you’re away. We provide full run of the house, no kennels or cages (unless requested and supplied by you) If your dog is used to sleeping with people we are more than happy to accommodate that as well. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate the following: Aggression towards people/animals Separation anxiety Excessive barking Destructive tendencies Dogs who are not fully house/bathroom trained Puppies under 6 months For single night bookings I do charge a 2 day minimum.
