I've owned dogs from childhood until two years ago when my Jack Russell past away at the age of 10. I had her since she was 6 weeks old. I love animals and children more than anything, they're pure gentle creatures of light and love. I do have a 2 month old son, so I would be "wearing" him on most walks, or hikes. For bike rides, to get a good ride in for your dog, he would be attached to the back of the bike by a "child trailer" and free from entanglement of leashes or your dearly treasured animal's path. The same goes for home visits, he would accompany me but be confined to his playpen and he is only 2 months old.
