Studying dog behavior & training now, but have always been 1st and foremost a dog lover for my entire life. My own fur kids are my world and have immense experience with pups belonging to friends, family and neighbors.

Lisa is family, but I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a pet/house sitter. She is a kind, responsible, and knowledgeable ‘dog-person’ who adores all ‘fur babies’ as she calls them. She will care for your pets and home while you’re away so you can enjoy your time without having to worry about your pets, as they will be in very focused, safe and capable hands. Our Rigby, a 4 y.o. cavapoo, has been in Lisa’s overnight care many times and is comfortable and trusting of Lisa, even for less comfortable aspects of care like paw and snout wiping, ear cleaning, brushing, retrieving playfully taken socks, etc. (which is rare for him when it comes to grooming, vets, etc.) He is a happy handful, and Lisa goes with his energy (and medicinal needs per our instruction) and we always come back to a very happy and healthy pup.
Lisa is a dog mom through and through, and not only to her two spoodles, but to every fur baby she meets. She helps run a canine wellness and nutrition company, volunteers at Southeastern Guide Dogs every week, and watches the pups of family, friends and neighbors, always treating them like her very own. She is also training to become a service dog instructor and is extremely committed to positive and consistent training and enrichment for puppers best lives. An active pup person also, she loves to walk, bike, and hike, always w a canine companion (or a few!) by her side.

I keep full focus and attention on the pups I care for and adhere to the edicts set by the pup parents. Excercise, diet and enrichment/play are vital and I always give energy to the fur kids I care for.

All the deets! ie Dietary timings so I manage their activity levels with enough quiet time before and after food (for best digestion); favorite toys, sounds, smells, games; sensative spots and favorite spots for rubs/skritches; leash/harness practices; portion and location of treats/snacks; medications if any; contact info for emergencies/vet/neighbor; best exit strategy for when I leave pup(s) for least stress (tv or sound on? Treat or lick mat?; any training emphasis if desired (and for consistency).
A typical day
I love to walk puppers for excercise and enrichment (sniffaries, hikes, brisk walks, all game depending on the age, breed, needs of the fur kid and weather/temperature of the day.) Indoors activities might include hike n seek of a toy or me, nose puzzle play, tug, fetch or catch, and keep away. And of course cuddles.
