Pet care experience
* please make sure to read all the way through as I have a full time 6am-230/3pm job Monday-Friday BUT do have some flexibility I grew up with dogs and a cat, desperately wanting one of my own after graduating college. I would pet sit for friends and family any chance I got. I finally found my girl, Millie in Oct 2017 after I moved to Asheville. She was the absolute best. Millie was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in sept 2021 and ended up passing away a couple months later. In those few months I learned a lot about how extensive pet care can be, and how amazing it is that we can be there for these animals who love so unconditionally. I’m here for your pets to give back that love that Millie showed me.

Lisa was so helpful keeping my senior (& very anxious) dog company while I was in Asheville for my sister’s wedding. She made sure to update and send pictures which put me at ease and allowed me to enjoy the day!
Lisa is a dream house sitter. She took great care of my place and my cat. My cat is a rescue who can be a bit particular. Lisa was able to connect with her, gave her lots of pets, play time, and my cat even began cuddling with her at night! By the time I returned, I'm pretty sure my cat was disappointed that I came home instead of Lisa. Haha. If you book with Lisa, you can be assured you are entrusting you're beloved pet with a very caring, thoughtful person.

I would love to go over your specific care plan for your pet. If you have a dog who does well running on leash I’m your person. I can also do quick drop ins or hang out at the house sessions. I’m good with medications as well if your pet is in need of some extra care.

I’d love to know if they can be reactive to anything or have any preferences. If they walk well on a leash. For cats, if they prefer no or minimal contact. Id essentially like to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible around me.
A typical day
I love jogging with pups, taking them for hikes or romping around the backyard. Also if they’re into couch hangs I’m down for that as well.

I work a full time job 6am-230/3pm during the weekdays but would love to take care of your pet after the work day. My schedule in the afternoon is pretty flexible, so even if it says I’m not available please reach out and we can work on a time that works for both of us.
