I am open to all breeds as it is not the breed that determines the temperament of the dog. I definitely prefer meeting a dog before doggy-sitting as we have our own dogs and I want to make sure everyone will be safe with one another. Habits and schedules are a must to know. Preferred do's and don'ts (jumping/furniture/beds, etc.). Is your dog food or treat aggressive or do you know? Do s/he share water bowls? Need to be crated? Any bad habits I should be aware of (I'd rather know of the possibility than to be surprised when it happens).

For dogs that like to play, I have a large backyard for running and playing. I also like taking walks around the neighborhood, but mostly I enjoy walks at the park. Do be aware that I do need your dog crate trained for first boarding appointments. I do not stay home all day and will need to crate your dog when I leave to go grocery shopping or to church, for example. If, after regular visits, it is determined that your dog can be left out while I am gone, that may become an option.
