Caring Companion for your Pet
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Lisa! I own two cats and a rabbit, and grew up with dogs. (Be aware that I may not be available on Saturdays March through September.) I have some experience in a veterinary clinic, and I am an active member of Pet Sitters International. I love helping pets, and I will care for yours as if they were my own. I serve cats, dogs, and small animals, but have many cat clients! The security of your home is important to me as well. I live between Silverdale and Poulsbo. Here are some things to expect: Before my visits: You and I will arrange a Meet and Greet to: Introduce myself to your pets. Learn the specifics you require for food, water, litter/waste, waste disposal, or other items. Learn the location of things such as litter, cleaning items, garbage can, broom & dust pan, vacuum, food, water source, dishes, treats, toys, supplies, etc. Obtain key or code for entry and exit. Learn how you want your key or opener returned to you (leave behind, bring back, or keep for next visit). Get any emergency contacts information. Discuss anything else you want me to know about your pet, or your home. During my visit: I will visit your home for the designated amount of time in which I will feed, water, and relieve your pet or clean litter, give attention and play time, brushing, and take photos of your pet to put in your Rover Card. I am happy to water plants, or other small tasks, normally without additional fee. I will send you a Rover Card each day. I recommend for you to read the Rover Cards if possible, as there may be information you’ll want to know. Typically, I will send minor alerts through the Rover Card, major alerts by text, and emergencies by direct phone call to you. But most of the time, I will just share a little of what transpired during my visit. As I leave, I will be careful to make doubly sure that your home is secure. After my visit: It will be nice if you can contact me to let me know that you have returned with no extensive delays, and to let me know when to return the key if necessary. I hope this is helpful to you, and look forward to working with you and your pet! Please let me know if you have any questions! Thank you! Lisa.
Reviews
Lisa came everyday and followed all instructions. She even went all over the house to find the shy cat that was hiding. Would use her again.
Lisa is fantastic! She cares for our two kitties with warmth and expertise - they love playing with her! She pays careful attention to any dietary restrictions and meds that our cats have to take daily. Lisa is very communicative and we love the photos she sends. You can see how much she loves animals We will always call Lisa for our pet sitting needs - she is a 5-star sitter!
Lisa has checked on our cat several times now and we couldn't recommend her more! She is dependable, responsive, and a great communicator.
Lisa is great with Oakley and he seems happy to see her when she comes!

Safety, trust & environment
I will do my best to keep the environment safe and clean for your pet at all times, being alert to potential hazards. I use a portable barrier or two to safeguard entry and exit.
Information Lisa K. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if the pet has had a previous owner, is up to date on vaccines, has any bite history, any recent illnesses or surgeries, and if they've ever tried to escape.
A typical day
What the owner prefers and what is in the best interest of the pet. I take time to play with the pet, if it is healthy, and give lots of attention, brushing, petting, and/or mini-massages during my visit. We spend time chasing or playing with toys for good exercise and stimulation. And/or we also do quiet relaxation time, sometimes with music. And we always have a "photo session" :) Let me know if you would like your pet on my profile page! (I am also currently offering regular pet waste removal services for dogs, cats and small animals. Service options include yard pick up, all-natural deodorizing, patio/deck wash, and indoor pet waste removal. Contact me for more info!)

Availability
I will make every effort to stick to your requested time, however more than one owner may have requested similar times, so adjustments may be made, and pets with medications or who need relief breaks will take priority. I can offer 15 min. sessions for half price as opposed to the regular 30 min., but prefer to see them for consecutive days to ensure their optimum safety and well-being.
