I grew up in Tampa Florida in a beautiful home that sat on four acres. My mom volunteered at the local wild life rescue center so I was blessed to be able to grow up surrounded by animals. At an early age I knew I was going to grow up and become a veterinarian. However, after one of our cats fell ill, I was overcome with sadness and decided to major in psychology. My love for animals never wavered and in college I adopted two adult cats. When my husband and I moved to North Carolina, we immediately went to our local shelter and adopted our dog. Our neighbor, who is active military, deployed shortly after we moved here. I spent two years taking care of his dogs every other week and he had three loving dogs. I recently took care of an eighteen year old sick cat who spent most of his last few weeks sleeping in my arms. His owner just had her second child and she didn't want her fur baby to feel neglected. I used to work full time and I ended up leaving because it just didn't seem fair to my dog. I understand that not everyone has that luxury and that's what I am here to help with! I'll do whatever it takes to make your fur baby (babies) happy and healthy! I absolutely love animals and I promise I will love and treat yours as if they were my own.
