Peace of mind with a vet tech!

Pet care experience

I have over eighteen years of experience in veterinary care (with my husband - Dr. Dave Mobile Veterinarian - Jackson, WY) and animal behavior therapy, specializing in reducing animal anxiety and stress. You can count on me to keep your pets active and safe during our time together in Jackson, Wyoming. I can also help with horses, cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, and game birds. I recently incubated some quail eggs and raised them to repopulate their native habitat. There is limited after-hours emergency veterinarian help in our town and some after-hours pet emergencies are being sent to Idaho Falls, Idaho. Be sure to update your sitter with all your pet's health history.

Lisa was Fantastic! Conscientious, Experienced, Flexible, and so much more. She watched our senior dog and our dog who has epilepsy who cannot be left alone so that we could attend a wedding in Jackson. As we were setting up the booking, Lisa responded quickly and honestly. When we met for the first time Lisa was very through in making certain she understood our care instructions and was not afraid to ask important questions so the visits would go just right. She watched our babies in a pet friendly hotel and was always on-time and never left us wondering if she was committed to the assignment. She took time to let our dogs get comfortable with her and made certain she understood their medication and feeding schedule. While we were away Lisa kept us posted with regular photos and solid honest updates on how our babies were doing and was willing to ask for ideas on how to calm one of our dogs who developed some strong separation anxiety. We highly recommend Lisa and will book her again the next time we are in Jackson! Thank You Lisa! Job Well Done!

I feel very fortunate to have found Lisa. Fry- our little Chihuahua settled right in- he even had some medical issues going on. We will definitely have Fry stay with Lisa when we are visiting the area!

She was great! She took Louie on a long walk and cuddled with him while he slept. He forgot all about us being gone! Highly recommend!

Lisa did an amazing job housesitting my two labs, Bailey and Emma. They received lots of love and exercise and seemed so happy when I returned from my trip. Bailey is 11 and having some diet issues and Lisa was so good with him and his special diet. I received lots of photos and neighbors commented on how happy the dogs were out on walks with Lisa. I highly recommend Lisa and look forward to having her stay with our dogs again.

Information Lisa H. would like to know about your pet

For daycare and boarding, all vaccinations will need to be up to date, which ensures the wellness of your pet. Please share your rules about furniture & bed sleeping. Also, holiday rates do apply for daycare and boarding. Check out the dog park at the Teton County Fairground to stretch your fur legs after a long car ride- winter only. My favorite off-leash winter hikes are Cache Creek, Emily's Pond, and Old Pass Road, but watch for wildlife and remember about the trailhead/parking lot leash requirement and winter wildlife closure areas.

A typical day

Lots of mountain hikes and then play in our large, private fenced backyard. I work from home so there is lots of flexibility to care for your pet.
