Pet care experience
Pet Care is not my hobby, or side job- this is what I love and I provide full time availability and service :) I have owned dogs and cats all my life, and have worked with animals professionally for over 20 years, including as a Veterinary Technician. I am experienced with administering medications (including but not limited to: oral meds, injections, fluids, etc.) as well as monitoring behavior for signs of illness/distress in dogs and cats. I have also worked in the dog daycare industry and am well-versed in body language signals and dog behavior. As the owner of a fear reactive dog, I am well prepared for pups who need a little extra care and precaution on walks. I am always on the lookout for possible stimuli to keep dogs calm and safe during their outings. If something specific stresses your pup out, just let me know! Lisa took great care of our pups while we were gone. We love the details she includes in each visit report (as an example she knows that one of our pups in particular loves butt scratchies), and the pictures she sent us are so good we now have several we want framed. We love Lisa!

Lisa was really helpful and definitely knows her stuff about many dog breeds! She is great with big dogs, little dogs, aggressive and/or high anxiety dogs too. She was on time and kept me posted of my dog’s progress. She took Osiris on a two hour hike and I know he had a blast. She can also take pics too which was really sweet of her.
We love Lisa! I’ve been told animals are a great judge of character, and they adore her. We (semi) joked on our way home today that we would plan a vacation (if we couldn’t bring the animals) around her availability. So that should say something! ?

I prefer clients provide details about their normal routines and what their pets like for drop in visits, that way I can ensure their needs are fulfilled while their parents are away :) (some need cuddle times, or have a special treat routine, etc)

All breeds and sizes are welcome. Please let me know if your dog has any reactivity on walks, friendly or otherwise (lunging towards other dogs, cats, bikes, squirrels, etc) so we can plan walk routes adequately.
A typical day
When you book with me, we can walk/run for the entire time, or have dedicated play time (in your home or yard), “cuddle time” (for those less active, attention-loving pups), etc.
