I've been around dogs my entire life growing up, with my kids and now currently with my significant other. Being around dogs gives me a sense of calmness and happiness. To see them happy makes my day. Growing up my siblings and I had dogs in our home. My kids had dogs while they were growing up as well. Currently my significant other is a K9 handler. The dog lives us 24/7 and is always in our care. Waking up to him everyday and interacting with him for the past 4.5 years has given me a whole new perspective on dogs and the amount of love, care and nurturing they need to do their job. Not to mention understanding the routine that they need in their daily life to keep them going and not skip a beat.
