I had a little pet sitting business in my 20s named Pampered Pets where I watched dogs and cats. I managed Harvest Hills Animal Shelter in Maine for two years and I had a pony, 4 rabbits, 2 pigs, 5 turkeys, 4 dogs and 2 sets of brother cats at my home in Maine from 1994 through 2002. I have lived in Alaska for the past 21 years now, and I have only had dogs and cats. I traveled throughout Europe petsitting in Germany, Spain, France and England for various homes with dogs and cats. It was amazing! It's fun for them and me and their owners appreciate it! I used another type of service for pet/housesitting and I have attached their reviews of me in my photos section here so I would not have to ask them again. I also have included references of those I know in Alaska. I was in Maine for the past 2 years living on a friend’s farm where I took care of their horses, donkey, chickens, bunny, dogs, cats and birds. I sat for many other animals through Rover there as well. I am now back in Palmer and I live in my winterized RV fulltime. I am free to fit in any house/pet sits, drop ins or walks after 5pm weekdays and weekends any time. Since my home is mobile, I can go to many areas to run the dog(s). I have walked many a trail on the Crevasse Moraine system running into the trails behind Mat-Su college.
