I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, gerbils, lizards, and for a time, a couple Madagascar hissing cockroaches (not my favorite). Rufus (a 90lb Rottweiler/lab mix) was the best pet ever and sadly passed away a couple years ago - I am fully comfortable with nice, big dogs. Given my work/travel schedule I am not ready to have my own pet, but I love offering a temporary home for my family and friends' dogs. Rover allows me open my home to even more! I am in a nice size house with a small fenced in backyard, in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of other homes with dogs. There is a nice park down the street and several great walking/hiking trails within a short drive. I work full time, but have the flexibility to work from home occasionally so can potentially have a little more flexibility in the days available. I grew up with mainly large dogs - so they were not allowed on the furniture or bed (they would take up the whole thing!). I am not completely opposed - would just like to understand circumstances prior to giving a blanket approval. Meet my pets None
