My family has had dogs as pets all of my life. We had a beagle, a pekingnese that was the runt of the litter with some health issues, an Australian shepherd, various mixed breed dogs and we took care of a friend's Old English shepherd for over a year. I worked with our peke, taking her through the 4H dog obedience training course. As a young child, I learned how to safely interact with dogs that were more reactive or temperamental. Moreover, most of my relatives and friends had dogs I played with- all sizes and breeds! I care about animals being happy and comfortable, I like to help keep animals healthy, and I am a conscientious person, I value earning trust and endeavor to merit that trust.
