We are a very dog friendly, loving family, with a 1 yr old St.Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix who’s been with us almost a full year. Prior to him, we had an 11 yr old yellow lab we adored dearly, who had to go to doggy heaven last July do to having cancer. Our St.pyrenees has been such a blessing to our family since losing our lab. He’s wonderful with all other dogs, but does lose energy quickly. He will play with other dogs hard for a few minutes and then he’s done. He just lays down. He has never growled or been aggressive, ever, with other dogs. His size is intimidating to some people but he is so gentle and loving. We also have 2 boys, ages 12 and 15 who love dogs and are excited to help take care of them. I am home full time, so your pet will get lots of attention and treated like they are part of the family. My boys are homeschooled, so this is also an opportunity for them to serve and take care of other responsibilities.We have a fenced back yard and live in a community with lots of wonderful walking trails your pet will highly enjoy. Maybe even a swim in the lake too. We would keep your pet inside mostly and take them for walks at least once a day. They may even get to lick our ice cream bowls in the evenings?
