Pet care experience
We have 3 children (ages 16, 14, & 9), and had 2 of our dogs for 16 & 17 years until they passed away. We've been pet sitting through Rover for 3 years now, & it's been a great experience! Our whole family loves animals, especially dogs :) We really enjoy getting to know each dog & their own unique personality. We will do our best to keep your dog on his/her current schedule, administer any medication needed, provide basic grooming, and of course lots of snuggles, walks and play in our large fenced in yard :) Our goal is always to make your dog feel at home. When they stay with us, your dogs are part of our family!

Lisa and Erik did an excellent job watching our 2 dogs - Ziggy and Luff this past weekend. Lisa shared a bunch of photos during their stay, and played with both of them abundantly. Both our pups were happy and not at all stressed when we came to pick them up - absolutely going to rebook whenever possible for future trips.
Lisa and her family were welcoming and knowledgeable. My dog, Junebug seemed very comfortable and looked at home when I went to pick her up after her stay. Thank you!
Lisa, Erik, and their family were amazing! From the time we walked in their home we were very comfortable and knew our fur babies were going to be well cared for. They provided us with daily updates and many pictures. We will definitely rebook with this family!

We have a large fenced in yard, and live in a single family home in a neighborhood full of cul de sacs which is perfect for taking dogs on walks. We generally follow what your dog is used to at home as far as walks, sleeping, eating, etc. We always make an effort to find out this information before the stay so we are prepared for our doggy visitors.

For the safety of any other pets I am caring for, I would like an updated copy of each dog's rabies & vaccinations record. I would like to know the dog's general routine: how often he/ she is taken on walks, fed, different things thy enjoy, anything that stresses them out or makes them anxious, & how well they get along with other animals and children. I'd also like to know if there are any medications that need to be administered, and when & how they are to be given. No certain breed preferences. Love them all!
A typical day
I would most likely take the dogs on walks up and down the cul de sacs in my neighborhood, and around a small walking trail at the nearby school. I love to run also, and am happy to run with higher energy dogs :) . We also love to play fetch, tug of war, etc., or just relax and watch TV while giving a good belly rub!

Availability
I work part-time (15 hrs a week), but my husband who will be assisting me with the pet sitting, works from home full time. It's rare that we are away from home for more than a few hours at a time, and our schedule is pretty flexible. We are generally able to provide potty breaks whenever needed.
