Pet care experience
I have always lived alongside animals whilst growing up. It has been a way of life for me, from dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs to horses. Then as a mum of two girls I was keen to share this experience with them and we all enjoyed many years of caring for our dogs and cats together. My girls are now grown up with pets of their own. I live here in the countryside with my husband and Penny our Chihuahua cross Terrier. Penny is very playful and prefers the company of smaller dogs that have no underlying nervous aggression issues. Your dog will be well cared for and looked after. I know what it is like to leave your pet behind when you need to go away! There will be plenty of cuddles available too!

Lisa was brilliant with our Border Terrier - he settled extremely well, she managed his medications and feeding schedule wonderfully well (he has a digestive issue which means a special diet). Her garden was a great place for him to play with access to woodland walks through the gate. She quickly understood some of his 'quirks' and the dogs happily coexisted during his stay. Would highly recommend!
Lisa has been great and we feel very happy to leave our puppy in her care. He really enjoyed his short stay and we have booked in for more stays this year. Benji is looking forward to playing with Penny again soon!
Lisa was beyond excellent. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Lisa, the attention and care she took of our beloved puppy was exceptional. Regularly kept up to date with videos, photos and stories of all our puppy's adventures during the day. Unbelievably reassuring, especially when we were so far away. I would not hesitate to book with Lisa in the future and cannot thank her, her lovely family and dog Penny for making our pooch feel right at home!
Lisa looked after Tasha, our 14 and a half year old border collie for 5 nights. Any worries we had about leaving her with someone new and wanting to be happy that she was with someone who was aware and able to take on a senior dog very soon evaporated. Lisa is very kind and understanding of dogs that is clear. She has a lovely home with walks on tap outside the door. Tasha came home a very happy dog, almost 5 years younger!! She clearly enjoyed her time there. I’m so glad to have found Lisa and will book with her again without hesitation. Thanks Lisa.

Let me know a little about your dog before their stay with me. Does your dog get on well with other dogs? How many times a day do you feed and how long do you usually walk your dog each day? Where abouts do they sleep at night, do they use a crate? My aim is to make your dog feel comfortable and right at home!
A typical day
There is plenty of room in my garden for us to play ball games or for your dog to just have a good run around. I am lucky enough to have endless walks around me which will give your dog lots of variety each day.

Availability
I work part time from home and have a regular routine of dog walks, play times and feeding. I can easily accommodate doggy guests according to their needs. Just let me know what your dog’s routine is, what they like and how they sleep at night.
