Loving Care for your Fur Babies!

Pet care experience

Hi there! Thank you for taking a glance at my profile. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions! *NOTE: Starting in May, I will have more free time and my availability will open up more. I will make exceptions depending on the situation. So please always ask! My name is Lisa, I, like many other people on Rover.com love animals! I have pet sitted/house sat for many pets owners and walked many dogs. I have owned many pets in my life, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to take care of your fur babies when you are not home or when emergencies happen. I've always personally felt that your pet will be more comfortable at home than at the boarding facility! Hence, I always encourage in home Dog Sitting. I have experience with lots of different animals from my past education (in animal care, little bit of dog training, grooming and a bit in veterinary technology) and past occupations (Bather, Kennel Technician and Pet Counselor). I am willing to work with you to make sure your furry child is well taken care of whenever you need it! I love to and will always take pictures and keep pet parents updated on how their furbaby is doing during my visits.

We had a very positive experience with Lisa. My cat needs a lot of attention, and Lisa gave it to her! The photos and messages were much appreciated. Thanks again!

Lisa is great with my dog Rio. She keeps in contact with me and makes me aware of any problems she notices with him. Love her!

Lisa is great! Right now I use her for dog walking my English bulldog. She is patient when he is stubborn and she walks him and plays with him. As a side benefits she has also done some training with Oscar that has been beneficial. Highly recommended.

Information Lisa C. would like to know about your pet

I ALWAYS schedule a meet and greet prior to any booking so that I can meet and greet to meet and get to know you and your pet better. I ask lots of questions and highly encourage owners to ask questions and discuss any concerns either of us may have. I want to make sure owners worry as less as possible while they are away from home. No breed preferences. I love all dogs equally. Big or Small. No matter the size. I usually have a list of questions I ask when we do our meet and greet. I do need to know if there is any aggression issues with food, toys, children/people, or other dogs. Also past medical history and vaccination records. Please DO let me know what special needs your pet has if there is any. I would love to know what commands they may already know and what their favorite treats or toys are. I want to know everything about your dog so that I can make sure they have a good time and is comfortable during my visit.

A typical day

Dog Walking: Your dog and I will take walks around the neighborhood, usually about a mile long walk per 30 minutes. We always work on heeling and not pulling. Though if the weather is bad (Heavy Rain, Storming, Heavy Snow/Sleet, Hail, and extreme low wind chills.), I usually switch your dog walks to a 30-Min Drop In for your dog's safety and mine. If you live in an apartment, I have walked dogs before all throughout the many floors of the apartment building before to get their exercise in, as well as taking them out to potty. I will still take your dog out to potty a few times while I'm there, but we can still work on commands/tricks or just give them love and attention. I also offer baths, brushing, teeth brushing, ear cleaning and nail trimming and grinding if requested for an additional cost. I can also help enforce any training you are working on with your puppies or dogs. That includes clicker training also.
